My name is Simon and I love programming, chess, motorcycling and exploring London, amongst other interests.
I am currently a research associate in geohazard modelling at Imperial College, quantifying the socioeconomic impact of landslide generated tsunamis to the UK. I hold a PhD in Computational Physics and an MEng in Aeronautics. I am a self-taught hacker, tinkering with computers and Linux since the age of 12.
Welcome to my little corner of the vast internet, where I write about my work, side projects and other interests.
